How to Send a Remittance to a PDL

Follow the steps below using either GCash or Bank Transfer. Remittances are credited to the PDL's cashless account under the BUCOR Cashless System.

Before You Send — Prepare the Following

  • Full name of the PDL (as registered with BUCOR)
  • PDL number / PDL ID
  • Facility or prison camp where the PDL is held (e.g., New Bilibid Prison, CIW, etc.)
  • Your valid government-issued ID (sender)
  • Your active GCash account or bank account with sufficient balance

Option A Send via GCash

  1. Log in to your GCash app.
  2. Tap "Pay Bills".
  3. Search for the BuCor biller.
  4. Enter the amount you wish to send.
  5. Enter your mobile number.
  6. Enter your email address.
  7. Tap "Next".
  8. A summary of the transaction will be displayed — review it carefully.
  9. Tap "Confirm" to proceed.
  10. Save a screenshot of the confirmation/receipt as proof of remittance.

Note: A ₱20 transaction fee will be added to the total amount.

Option B Send via Bank Transfer

  1. Go to your bank branch, or log in to your online/mobile banking app.
  2. Choose Fund Transfer / Deposit to Account.
  3. Use the official bank account details below:
  4. Enter the amount you wish to send.
  5. In the remarks/reference field, write: PDL Full Name — PDL Number — Facility.
  6. Complete the transaction.
  7. Keep the deposit slip or transfer confirmation as proof of remittance.
⚠ Security Reminder: Send remittances only to the official account details published by BUCOR or ICARUS FASTONE. Never send money to personal accounts of individuals claiming to process remittances. Always keep your proof of transaction.

What is the BUCOR Cashless System?

It is a system of the Bureau of Corrections that allows Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) to receive and use funds without physical cash, improving safety and transparency inside prison facilities.

How long before the PDL receives my remittance?
